Default Al Akhbar article : The Lingering Legacy of Doctor Dahesh

I haven't been here in a while.

I thought I'd post links to this article and these pictures from today's Al Akhbar newspaper.

interesting quotes, Mario

I was just wondering : why do you say you never want to go back to Beirut ? is it related to the war ? to the way Lebanon treated Dahesh ?

Also, I was saddened to hear of the passing of Ms Zeina Haddad. I guess the house is now empty. I hope it's not going to be demolished and replaced by an ugly tower

I just gave a candid response. In response to your question, all I can say is "all of the above and a few things more." We'll see how things go and I might expand more on the issue at a later date — don't you worry.

Regarding Zeina: How sad. I am curious how you find out, since there is practically no information about her death online — that I can see, at least.

God willing, she(that is, a portion of her spiritual fluids) is reunited with her mother Marie Haddad and her sister Madga. In "Strange Tales and Wondrous Legends, Pt. 3" Doctor Dahesh reveals that Marie Haddad had become the head of a planet immersed in eternal bliss... we learn that she is embracing Magda and kissing her with deep love... and that both of them were basking in happiness...

P.S. For what it's worth, On April 15, 2011, I recorded a dream in which I saw Doctor Dahesh walking behind 2 ladies, accompanying them outside... One of the women was rather old with white hair and looked like she could be Marie Haddad and the other was Zeina Haddad.

I write: "I could hear the Doctor speak to them and the only word I could understand was 'religion' " which he apparently repeated several times.

Thanks for your answer. I hope you'll reconsider in a few years. Whenever I go back to Lebanon, I have mixed feelings, good or bad.

Regarding Ms Zeina Haddad's death, I learned about it from Murad's Dahesh blog a few months ago, but apparently he has now taken out the blog post

I might still have it in my RSS reader

Very odd, indeed. Also, since I've recently discovered "Al Akhbar," I found this article in the Arabic section. It shows a gash in the side of the Hneineh palace... Supposedly, it was an "accident." Some crane from the construction site next door rammed into it, it would seem (the article does not expand on that). However, the article says Ms. Haddad — who played a vital role — had "vacated" the upper floor even though she been living there since 1936 and not even the civil war drove her out; yet she left for some reason. The article mentions that the upper floor is a prayer center for Daheshists... In any case, neither she nor her assistants would explain the move. That article was published in early 2012. I gather the blog death notice was in early December 2011.

Based on that, it would appear that the blog published incorrect information.

This "accident" is no accident indeed. This technique is frequently used by people who want to tear down old buildings and replace them with towers. They just pay some construction workers at a nearby place to "make a mistake" and destroy the building. They can then claim that there is no alternative but to tear it down, even if the landmark is classified.

It's the oldest trick in the book and these thuggish real estate barons do it every day with full impunity.

Mario,

Of course, after you read it, if you find out from your Beirut friends that the news posted by Murad about her passing was false (hopefully), feel free to delete the post

Ziyad,

Thank you for posting the actual notice you received from the Dahesh Blog. Because the burden of proof is our shoulders, we should not re-post a notice that has been deleted by its original author.

Who knows why it was removed and I wouldn't want us to potentially interfere with whatever motives are behind that decision.

I think it's good enough we discussed the issue and we brought to the foreground. We presented two sides of the story: the Al Akhbar article and your testimony (which I deem 100% credible).

The good news is that the original message you posted can be restored. We have the actual (formerly active) link to the "Blog." So, we'll keep the file open on this one.

And I agree with you regarding this issue of this "accident" being non accident at all.

Hi, "Sael1." It's good to see you back. Hope all is well.

I really admire your dedication and I wish I could give you good news on that front. But as far as the house is concerned, it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Frankly, and in the absence of any officially sanctioned Daheshist organization that might assist a person in channeling his or her commitment and devotion to the cause, I would invest in a project that helps humanity.

Doctor Dahesh wrote the following in his book كلمات (Words):

من العار أن تموت قبل أن تقوم بأعمال الخير نحو الإنسانية

"It would be a disgrace for you to die before doing good deeds for humanity"

Doctor Dahesh also wrote in the same book the following piece of advice:

"It is insane to burn yourself in order to illuminate the path for others."

Very Disappointing to see that house slowly eroded from the memory of humanity, while good people sit and do nothing; evil thrives.

However, i seem to have a problem accessing the thread of the audio recordings, it keeps asking for a password
please help
